About the exhibition in Knokke
Our new exhibition has been created in collaboration with Mu.ZEE, Belgium's leading museum of modern and contemporary art. Mu.ZEE manages an impressive collection of more than 8,000 works of art, covering the period from 1880 to today. This collection, put together by the Flemish government and the city of Ostend, is enriched by its own purchases, donations and long-term loans.
Delen Private Bank has recently become a proud sponsor of Mu.ZEE. This cooperation underlines our commitment to art and culture.
In addition to the artworks by Mu.ZEE, we are also showing works by two Belgian artists.
Denmark, who gives discarded books, newspapers, magazines and files a second life by transforming them into visual archives. His work symbolises the abundance of information that characterises our society.
Gilbert De Cock, for whom the confrontation between circle and square represents the dialogue between God and man, between the infinite and the finite. His art invites reflection on these universal themes.
